What is Conkis?

Conkis is a turn-based tactical strategy game by OCIO Games that combines medieval fantasy elements with strategic depth. Players engage in PvP battles, either capturing flags or defeating opponents to secure victory.

Drawing inspiration from Chess and Age of Empires, it introduces a Trading Card Game (TCG) system, allowing players to collect and use NFT cards representing various units. With 1v1, 2v2, and 3v3 modes, the game caters to both solo and team players, providing diverse and competitive gameplay experiences.

Unit System and Counters

Conkis features a rich tactical unit system where each unit type has distinct strengths, weaknesses, and counter strategies. Here are some of them:

Knight: Strong against Slinger and Crossbowoman but vulnerable to Spearman and Axeman.
Spearman: Effective against Knights and Crossbowoman but weak to Axeman and Archers.
Axeman: Dominates Knights and Spearmen but falls to Archers and Slingers.
Archer: Excels against Spearman and Axeman but vulnerable to Slinger and Crossbowoman.
Slinger: Targets Axeman and Archer effectively but struggles against Knight and Crossbowoman.
Crossbowoman: Counter to Archers and Slingers but weak against Knights and Spearman.
Each unit adds a layer of strategic complexity, encouraging players to carefully consider their compositions and matchups in every battle.

Cards and Their Strategic Role in Conkis

Cards are the heart of Conkis, bringing versatility and excitement to every match. Players can choose from a variety of card types, including attack, defense, mobility, shields, healing, and even magic cards. This diversity allows for customized strategies, enabling players to tailor their approach to different opponents and scenarios.

Each card is assigned a "power" value, representing its strength and effectiveness. Players have a power limit—typically 100—within which they must construct their decks, adding a layer of resource management to the game. Capturing flags during matches can increase this power limit, allowing for more strategic flexibility.
