Game Overview
CropBytes is a farming simulation game based on real-world farming economy.
In the game, you get to farm and own assets, build and increase your farm’s output, trade them with other players, and sell them in exchange for crypto.
Gameplay
Playing the game involves placing your assets on your farm, growing crops and fruits, making food, feeding animals, collecting CBX tokens, collecting utilities, and trading.
Growing Crops and Fruits
Assets include Corn, Carrots, Apples, Bananas, and Oranges.
These fresh products are in high demand due to their many uses such as Feeding the Animals, Trading, and Crafting, among others.
Grinding and Making Food
In order to convert harvested assets into Feed that can be given to Animals, you need to Grind them. To do this, you need to send your crops to a Mill and pay a small fee.
Mills are owned by farmers in the game.
Feeding Animals
Animals are the most important assets in the economy as their produce can be directly exchanged for CBX tokens.
Farm animals need to be fed daily, and different kinds of animals need different quantities of feed. In turn, these animals produce varying quantities of products such as Milk, Horse Hair, Wool, and many more.
Collecting CBX Tokens
In the game, you can convert your animal extracts to CBX. This token can be used to buy other assets to increase your production or can be traded.
Collecting Utilities
Utility assets are used to generate utilities and power. Water is used for growing crops & fruits. Power is used for collecting Water from Wells and Lake Houses.
Trading
The game itself simulates real-world economics. Players determine the value of assets based on factors such as supply and demand. You can trade assets, utilities, food, and CBX in the market.
Game Assets
Game assets in CropBytes are made up of a mix of fungible and non-fungible tokens. These game assets can be bought, traded, and mined using CBX. They can be categorized into the following:
Essential Assets
Items that are required for daily consumption in the game. These include Seeds, Water, Feed, Power, and Grease.
Farming Assets
Items that are used to produce crops and fruits. These include Croplands and Trees.
Animals
Produce extracts that are required to mine CBX. There are a variety of animals in the game, and every single one is unique. They consume different amounts of feed and water. They also produce different extracts as long as they are fed daily.
Pro Animals
Produce pro extracts that are used to craft Breed Feed which is used to breed Superheroes.
Superhero NFTs
Superheroes help boost your farm's output and fuel your earnings. Each one has a different power. Currently, there are 6 Superheroes available.
Buildings
Buildings are used for producing utilities and providing services. These include Utility Assets (for Water and Power production), Superhero Houses, and Feed Mills.
Getting Started
The game is available for download in PlayStore, App Store, and can also be played on your PC browser.
After downloading, you will be asked to sign-up for an account. You will go through a basic tutorial where you will learn how to do the basic actions in the game. You will also be given free trial assets for a week that you can use as you’re still learning how to play.
