What is The Old Castle Defense?
The Old Castle Defense is a GameFi & DEFI platform developed by TOCD Studio with a revolutionary short-term, high-yield $BEAM & NFT staking system. Staking occurs during the game session (Siege). By upgrading NFTs and staking $BEAM, users increase their Faction's attack strength, with all funds pooled into the Faction's Treasury. The faction with the highest attack wins Battles and the Siege. Victorious users reclaim their staked funds and share the defeated Faction's treasury among themselves.
The Old Castle Defense(TOCD) powered by smart contracts meaning each in-game action is a transaction that burns some $BEAM from transaction fees and support ecosystem economy.
How to play
The winning Faction wins the treasury of the losing team. Winning Faction Treasury refunds back to Investors with rewards.
The game doesn't have timing. It's the on-chain game - it has blocks, where 1 block ≈ 10 sec.
All $BEAM holders and NFT owners are able to play and stake with 150% GPY. NFT brings you free to play to earn functionality with 0% risk to lose it.
How to win
The faction with the highest attack wins Battles.
The faction winning 51% of Total Battles wins Siege(Game). Victorious users claim their staked funds and share the defeated Faction's treasury among themselves..
The Dealer
NFT owners receive $SPH(Sapphires) token after each Battle. It needs to Upgrade, Heal NFT or Burn $SPH to have an advantage among your teammates.
Do you need more Sapphires ($SPH)? The Dealer is here, send your $BEAM and receive $SPH. All $BEAM sent to the dealer will be automatically staked in a smart contract and returned back in case if your team will win together with a reward.
The Four Paths
1 - Playing the game (NFT owners)
30% of Treasury: Players who own NFTs of the game are eligible to earn $BEAM by playing the game. The game's contract distributes 30% of the Treasury among NFT owners who participate in battles and achieve victories.
2 - Investing to teams ($BEAM Holders)
70% of Treasury: $BEAM holders can stake in the two teams competing in the game - Terrible Creatures and Knights of the Kingdom. At the end of each battle, the total investment made by BEAM holders in the winning team is returned along with the profit share of the Treasury, which is 70% of the total.
3 - Referral program (Invite friends)
10% of our Fees: Users who invite their friends to join the game through the referral link can earn BEAM as a reward. The game charges a 6% fee on each transaction made by BEAM holders. 10% of fees distributed to the users who refer new players to the game - automatically in each transaction. No third party.
4 - Free Voting
10% of our Fees: Players can vote for their favorite team without investing any $BEAM. For each battle, the game's contract distributes 10% of the fees collected as a reward for users who vote for the winning team.
