What is Shatterline?
Shatterline is a fast-paced first-person shooter combining roguelike PvE and competitive PvP gameplay. Players take on the roles of unique operatives with special abilities, fighting for survival on a futuristic Earth under siege by the alien force known as the Crystalline.
Set to relaunch on the Epic Games Store on December 5th, 2024, Shatterline introduces updates that improve balance, progression, and fair play, offering a more refined and rewarding gaming experience.
Unique Operatives and Abilities
Shatterline features a diverse roster of operatives, each equipped with unique abilities that cater to various playstyles. Whether you're focused on support, offense, or defense, the operatives bring dynamic strategies to both PvE and PvP modes.
Recent updates have rebalanced abilities, ensuring fair and competitive gameplay across all modes.
Player Progression
Progression is central to Shatterline’s experience. As players engage in PvE missions or PvP matches, they earn experience points to level up operatives, unlock new weapons, and gain access to upgrades and skins.
The progression system has been refined through recent testing to provide players with a fair, engaging, and rewarding sense of growth.
PvE and PvP Modes
Shatterline offers both cooperative and competitive gameplay experiences. In PvE, players team up in squads of four to complete procedurally generated missions filled with intense challenges. In PvP, matches feature teams of six players each, battling in modes like Team Deathmatch, Conquest, and Plant-the-Bomb.
Weekly prize pools for top PvP and PvE performers will add extra excitement upon the game’s relaunch.
Anti-Cheat and Fair Play
To maintain a fair and competitive environment, Shatterline will relaunch at $4.99, with free keys distributed by content creators to help grow the community. The price tag, combined with advanced anti-cheat tools, aims to ensure a fair and enjoyable gaming experience.
Weekly prize pools in PvP and PvE competitions further emphasize the need for fairness and balanced gameplay.
Getting Started
Shatterline will be available for download on the Epic Games Store starting December 5th, 2024. For those eager to jump in early, the Playtest Server (PTS) is live now. Simply go to Epic Games Shatterline PTS to join.
The PTS allows up to 500 players at a time, with a queue system in place if servers are full. Note that progress made in the PTS will reset for the full game relaunch.
