Interested in how to start playing Genopets? Here's what you need to get started. This post covers system requirements, signing up, getting your access code, downloading the game, installing the game, and logging in.

Genopets is a free-to-play, move-to-earn mobile NFT game built on the Solana blockchain. This game uses your smartphone to track your real-life movement and convert it into energy. This energy is required to obtain several rewards such as $Ki, XP to level up your digital pets, and, in the future, battle energy.

Step 1 - Set up your Solana-supported wallet#Copy URL to this article section

To login and start playing the game, you must have a Solana-compatible wallet. Here are the supported Solana wallets that you can use:

Phantom Wallet
Solflare
Torus
Ledger
Sollet
WalletConnect
Glow

Go to the official website and click “Sign in” at the top right corner of the site.

You will be redirected to another page. Click "Login with wallet".

Choose your preferred Solana wallet to proceed. In this example, Phantom wallet will be used.

You will be prompted to connect your Solana Wallet account and click “Connect”. Then, a transaction request will appear. Click “Approve” to proceed and authenticate your login request.

You will be prompted to connect a game account to access the game's mainframe. For new users, select “Create new game account”.

If you already have an account, proceed on linking your existing game account.

Afterwards, Fill up the form by typing your email address and password and click “Create account”

You will be prompted to link your wallet address to your game account to get started. Click “Link Now”.

Congratulations! Your account has successfully been linked.

Currently, there are four possible ways to get an access code to start playing:

Own a Genesis Genopet, Genesis Habitat or Regular Habitat
Earn DNA role in the game's Discord server
Submit your email to the waitlist at the official website
Through playing with Guild Communities

To own a pet or habitat, you must first deposit SOL to your Solana wallet, then purchase a pet or habitat from the Magic Eden Marketplace.

When you receive the asset you purchased, go to the game's Discord server and verify your wallet to have your account approved. After that, you can proceed to the official website's dashboard and summon your pet.

The DNA role is a special role in the Discord server that is given to an elite group of fans. You can get this role by being active, involved, and helpful to the community. This can also be obtained by successfully completing a special test in their Discord server.

To sign up for beta access and be included in the waitlist, click here, then click ” Resume Sign Up”. A verification link will be sent to your email.

Afterwards, you will be asked to join the Discord server and verify your account.

Once the email verification has been completed, you will be added to the waitlist. Your beta code will be sent to you once you have been invited.

Step 4 - Download and install the game#Copy URL to this article section

The app is available for download on the iOS AppStore and Android PlayStore. Install the game on your mobile device.

Download and install Genopets through the Google Play Store or the AppStore. You can check the system requirements, details about the app, and reviews of the game.

Open the app and sign in to your account. If you own a Pet or a Habitat, the Pet you summon is automatically sent to you in game.

If you receive an invite code via email or from a guild, enter the code to start playing.
