How to Get Started with Pirate Nation: A Beginner's Guide
3 - 4 minutes
Step into the adventurous world of Pirate Nation, where you become a Pirate Lord commanding your crew. This beginner's guide will help you navigate crucial features like building your crew, embarking on quests, and crafting essential items to set sail on the high seas.
In your screen, there are nine different tabs that are significant to your journey. We will tackle each of these to understand their functions before diving into the details.
Your Crew is the backbone of your Pirate Nation. Here, you can see all your Crew members, their experience progress, and the Rum Meter if they are the Captain.
When the Pirate XP bar fills up, you can pay gold coins to level up that pirate. The Rum Meter indicates your current Captain's level of "Drunkenness," recovering one point each hour. Captains gain XP 10% faster than other Crew members.
You can set or remove Captains on this screen, but keep in mind there is an 8-hour cooldown timer before you can set a new one.

Energy fuels your adventures in Pirate Nation. Your Crew shares 150 Energy, replenishing at a rate of one Energy every 10 minutes. Use this Energy wisely for quests. Select a pirate and choose a quest to start. Quests require Energy and sometimes special items or higher-level pirates.

Bounties allow you to send your pirates on missions that don't use Energy but cost Marks/Pirate Gold. Bounties have varying durations and reward you with basic resources and potential bonuses. Keep in mind that the pirates you used on a Bounty will be locked (this means you cannot use them in another Bounty) until the one you started has been completed. Claim your rewards once the Bounty is done.
