Status and Status Effects#Copy URL to this article section
Before we dive into the specifics of Mojos, Champions, and SpellStones, let’s talk about the stats that each unit has in the game:
Character Stats and Abilities
The following table shows what each Stat does:
HP / Health | HP is the health of the unit. In the example above, the Leaf Mojo’s HP at level 1 is 350, at level 2 is 630, and at level 3 is 1134. |
Armor | Armor is a layer of protection that absorbs incoming damage from the enemy. |
Range | Range is how far a unit can attack from where they are positioned. This distance applies in all directions. Range units are measured in cells. |
Attack | Attack is the amount of damage a unit can inflict on their opponent. In the above example, the Leaf Mojo’s Attack at level 1 is 17, at level 2 is 26, at level 3 is 38. |
Energy | Energy is what a unit consumes for its skill to take effect. For example, the Leaf Mojo needs 20 Energy to cast its skill (this applies to all levels). Your units gain Energy when they are attacking and when they are being attacked. |
Skill / Special Ability | Skill is the special ability that a unit can do. This usually indicates the stats that it affects and the range where it takes effect. |
Arena during Preparation Stage
During a match, units can be affected by Status Effects. Here are what you need to know:
Stun | The unit cannot perform any action. |
Root | The unit cannot move but can perform other actions. |
Taunt | The unit is forced to attack a certain unit on the board. |
Daze | The unit moves randomly across the board. It can cast skills while dazed. |
According to the game's whitepaper, Mojos are “plant-based magical creatures sprouted from Moj-Seeds.” They are playable NFTs that can be used in both Mojo Melee and Mojo Land. In Mojo Melee, each type of Mojo has its own abilities and synergies with different kinds of spells.
All Mojos cost 5 Gold in the game and have the same HP, Armor, Range, and Attack. However, they vary in their Energy and Skills.
As of writing, there are four types of Mojos that can be used in the game: Vine, Flower, Leaf, and Moss.

SpellStones#Copy URL to this article section
SpellStones are items that Mojos use to wield magic. Some SpellStones are placed on tiles (either on your own side or your opponent’s side), and these are triggered at the start of the round. Others need to be attached to a unit, and they are only triggered after certain conditions are met.
