Lore of Edenhorde
After the fateful Battle of Eclipse, a shadow of destruction has fallen over Edenhorde. A dire prophecy foretells the land’s collapse, throwing its once-peaceful factions into turmoil.
As the Legatorius, chosen to lead, it’s up to you to unite the divided tribes and defend Edenhorde against the looming disaster. But with internal strife, political tensions, and enigmatic forces, victory won’t come easy.
The fate of Edenhorde rests on your shoulders—do you have what it takes to lead them to victory?
How to Play
Eclipse of Edenhorde is a strategic web3 card game where two players face off on a 2x4 grid, each starting with 15 health points. Your goal is to reduce your opponent’s health to zero by using cards from your deck to attack their cards or directly target their health.
Each turn, players draw a card and receive an additional berry, which is the resource used to play cards. Cards are played onto the grid, attacking the card opposite them, or, if no card is present, damaging the opponent’s health directly. Unspent berries carry over to future turns, allowing you to build up for stronger plays later in the match.
The game continues until one player's health is reduced to zero.
Cards, Abilities, Consumables
Cards are the heart of your strategy. Each player begins with a deck of 45 cards, each featuring:
Berry Cost: Berries required to play the card.
Attack Value: Damage dealt to an opponent’s card or health.
Health Value: How much damage a card can take before it’s destroyed.
Card Abilities can further shift the game in your favor, triggered when a card is played, destroyed, or discarded. Inspect cards to understand their abilities and strategically use them to turn the tide.
In addition, players have access to Consumables—powerful items that can be used once per turn to gain a tactical advantage. Each player starts with 3 consumables, which can offer effects such as strengthening cards or recovering health, but they aren't replenished during a match, so use them wisely!
Game Modes
Eclipse of Edenhorde offers a range of multiplayer options to suit your preferred style of play:
Public Matches: Open to all, allowing you to battle against players from the wider Edenhorde community. Just click "Create Match" and wait for an opponent to join.
Private Matches: Invite-only games where you can challenge friends and test your strategies in a more controlled environment.
Lobby: Use the lobby to quickly join a match with other players who are also looking for a game.
Whether you want to play with friends or face random opponents, there’s a mode for everyone.
